РСФСР от 23 сентября 1991 года он первым из
экономических вузов России был
преобразован в университет и получил
название "Санкт-Петербургский
государственный университет экономики и
финансов" (СПбГУЭФ). С тех пор день 23
сентября отмечается как День
университета.
